They are already made graphics by you that you use my brushes/textures/patterns to create with. So they're not really freebies that people can edit or use again for other things. It's all good. As long as they're not made into other textures/brushes/patterns of yours to be shared with others as YOUR own goodies, it's okay.

Years of practice, patience, passion and of course a creative talent. I was a newbie too, once. It's not something that you can just pick up and be good in a short time. It needs dedication and imagination. Learn from others quietly and observe. I never asked anyone else to teach me. I simply looked and was amazed enough to actually make myself to be able to do this on my own. My perfectionism has something to do with it as well. I'm never satisfied with what I have accomplished for more than 2 days. I will always look back to my work again and think 'I can do better than that'.
